I have the "blue screen" on my hp desktop running windows xp. I have seen online, software to download that will clean the registry. How can I download if the computer is frozen on the blue screen?

Why wont my computer download world of warcraft properly?

When I woke up today my computer couldn't start so I had to go into the computer repair
It said I had faulty software
after i finished WoW was gone.
I downloaded Original WoW and The burning crusade of of the website and WoTLK of the disc because it takes far too long to download it off the internet but the others are really fast
I dosent ask me for any patches for the first two and continues to install the most recent WoTLK for every expansion.
So why isn't my computer downloading WoW properly?

rights in the program. Adaptations so prepared may be transferred
only with the authorization of the copyright owner.
(c) Machine Maintenance or Repair. - Notwithstanding the
provisions of section 106, it is not an infringement for the owner
or lessee of a machine to make or authorize the making of a copy of
a computer program if such copy is made solely by virtue of the
activation of a machine that lawfully contains an authorized copy
of the computer program, for purposes only of maintenance or repair
of that machine, if -
(1) such new copy is used in no other manner and is destroyed
immediately after the maintenance or repair is completed; and
(2) with respect to any computer program or part thereof that
is not necessary for that machine to be activated, such program
or part thereof is not accessed or used other than to make such
new copy by virtue of the activation of the machine.
(d) Definitions. - For purposes of this section -
(1) the "maintenance" of a machine is the servicing of the
machine in order to make it work in accordance with its original
specifications and any changes to those specifications authorized
for that machine; and
(2) the "repair" of a machine is the restoring of the machine
to the state of working in accordance with its original
specifications and any changes to those specifications authorized
for that machine.

information." The Commission on New Technological Uses is, among
other things, now engaged in making a thorough study of the
emerging patterns in this field and it will, on the basis of its
findings, recommend definitive copyright provisions to deal with

Since it would be premature to change existing law on computer
uses at present, the purpose of section 117 is to preserve the
status quo. It is intended neither to cut off any rights that may
now exist, nor to create new rights that might be denied under the
Act of 1909 or under common law principles currently applicable.
The provision deals only with the exclusive rights of a copyright
owner with respect to computer uses, that is, the bundle of rights
specified for other types of uses in section 106 and qualified in
sections 107 through 116 and 118. With respect to the
copyright-ability of computer programs, the ownership of copyrights
in them, the term of protection, and the formal requirements of the
remainder of the bill, the new statute would apply.
Under section 117, an action for infringement of a copyrighted
work by means of a computer would necessarily be a federal action
brought under the new title 17. The court, in deciding the scope of
exclusive rights in the computer area, would first need to
determine the applicable law, whether State statutory or common law

Ford 97 Escort, Repair troubles, high repair cost. Computer Ecm PCM Replacement?

I have a 97 escort w/ 110k. Basic sedan model Model. My heater core recently went and an onslaught of problems occurred after this.

The main problem is that I am a college student, the car didn't cost me anything but now Im looking at over a $1600 repair job.

I tried local garages with friends/and different family connections but they weren't knowledgeable of what was going on. So I broke down, semi literally and went to the deal.

They start with adding a new battery...Then a new relay box because my fans wouldn't shut off to cool the engine, then an O2 sensor because they "claimed" it was bad. I now have a 8 or $900 repair cost, "Fine I can justify it, I never payed anything for the car."

Now they are saying 5-8 wires are shorted or cut and it fried the Computer,

THE QUESTION:

Do I have them do it for the $750 they said they would do it for, or get them the part and have them install it. They said it was an easy install but the part was very expensive. But I have seen that on Yahoo Answers I might get lucky at AutoZone or Napa and get it Reconditioned.

Could someone very knowledgeable nip this in the butt for me? Thank you for your Time.
As mentioned it is uncommon for this to occur in Ford Vehicles. Im not sure where the computer is located but when my Heater Core went, it leaked on the floor of my car, quite a bit. I believe this is where he said the computer was.

I am 16 years old and I have been repairing computers out of my house now for about 2 years. Is it legal for me to put flyers out advertising my services and prices? I have a computer repair service business and have a website for it. I do get few visitors each day, but do not get much customers contacting me for service; not even price quote.
